Gut Issues, Insomnia & Skin Rashes? Test for Parasites
Have you had long-standing digestive issues like bloating, loose stools or abdominal pain? Have you been struggling with strange rashes, itchy skin or cystic acne? Do you have anemia or chronic fatigue? What about reactions to foods, mysterious joint pain, anxiety or trouble sleeping?
You may want to consider testing for parasites with GI MAP!
Parasites are much more common that people think, in fact there’s a good chance that most people have at least one at some point. But here’s the thing, if you look at this list of symptoms below and suspect you might have one, don’t worry, but take action and reach out to us. We can eliminate them, but it requires some additional support and the quicker we catch it the easier it is!

Parasites Don’t Just Affect Digestion
Now you may have thought that parasites would only affect the digestive system, and they very well do. They can cause serious gut pain, cramping, diarrhea and even weight loss and chronic nutritional deficiencies due to poor absorption. But that’s not where the symptoms usually end.
The Surprising Truth
But it may be surprising to hear that they can cause plenty of symptoms outside of the digestive tract, including insomnia, skin rashes, boils, chronic fatigue and allergies. You may feel like you always have the flu or feel run down all the time.
Parasites Steal our Nutrition
If you feel the need to eat many meals and snacks all day long because your blood sugar feels low, this may also be a sign that parasites are stealing your nutrients. They particularly love feeding off of our blood, which is why one may become anemic or have low iron levels and feel fatigued a lot. If you’ve always been on the low side, this is something I would definitely explore with a natural practitioner.
Wouldn’t My Doctor Catch If I Have a Parasite?
In short, not usually. Infections have to be in that exact blood sample to be picked up on tests, which isn’t common. We choose to run Stool Analysis Panels for parasites, as well as other infections, as it is a much more accurate method of testing!
What You Can Do About Parasites
The ideal first step would be to test. After we test, we can get a better picture and what is going on inside your gut, including if it’s just parasites or if there’s something else we need to address also. Then, we will create a protocol specific to you, with a personalized diet and supplement plan.
Can You Heal From Parasites With Diet Alone?
In our experience, you’ll likely need to utilize tools beyond just changing your diet. Although diet changes will certainly help, using the right high-quality supplements are key to eradicating parasites and truly healing the gut. To heal the gut, we must take a well-rounded, holistic approach. Remember, it’s not just about killing the bug, but bringing balance to the system.
